Which Service Do I Need?
If something is wet right now, ask for water damage restoration. Speed matters more than getting the category right, and mold becomes a risk after 24 to 48 hours.
If you can smell smoke but had no fire of your own, ask about fire and smoke damage. Odor migrates between units and from neighboring buildings.
If you can see growth, or somebody in the building has developed a persistent cough, start with mold testing rather than remediation.
